Founded during the Meiji era of Japan, which ranged from 1868-1912, Kamasada Studio is a distinguished maker of Nambu Tekki, traditional Japanese ironware. Their workshop is currently based in the Iwate Prefecture and is led by third-generation master craftsman Nobohu Miya.Though they preserve passed down production methods, they create home accessories for a new generation. Kamasada Studio’s ironware stands out for its contemporary design and functionality, as well as its dedication to honor history.
